Mrs. Ayesha Afrin is an Assistant Professor of Dept. of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong (CU), Bangladesh. Her research area encompasses from the synthesis of plant/marine-based novel bioactive compounds, development of robust analytical technique for the determination of heavy metals and rare earth elements upto Pico-trace level to environmental remediation. Her active field of interest includes Environmental Chemistry, Genetics, Natural Product Chemistry, Materials Chemistry.
