Aminul Islam Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He obtained his B.Sc. and Master's Degree in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. .Besides, he holds another MS in Agricultural and Natural Science from Tennessee State University and yet another MS in Environmental Pollution Control from the Penn State University, College Park , USA . He teaches at undergraduate level and MS level. Few of the courses he actively teaches are Corrosion Engineering, Principal of Chemical Engineering, Mass Balance , Physical Chemistry etc. His field of interest includes but not limited to environmental research, fate of contaminants, surface and subsurface water movement of water , and heavy metals. He also takes interest in emerging contaminants in soil and water. In addition to his classroom teachings, he is a lifelong learner and has knowledge in Python, R programming and good grasp on Statistics and ArcGIS .
